Your surplus food can help nourish local families, reduce food waste, and strengthen the Merced County community.
Your extra food can nourish families, reduce waste, and build a stronger Merced County.
Our goal is to recover as much safe, edible surplus food as possible and redirect it to the community. Food Para Todos partners with grocery stores, schools, farms, restaurants, bakeries, distributors, colleges, hospitals, and event organizers to recover fresh, edible food and redirect it into the community.
We accept perishable and non-perishable foods, which will go into the hands of community members in need (view the end of the page for a list of accepted items). These donations are redistributed through trusted community partners, including childcare providers, shelters, pantries, community fridges, and community spaces. Anything from a box of cereal to a pallet of bananas, we accept any amount of donations.
