Food Para Todos is an initiative of Community Initiatives for Collective Impact. As we continue to grow, we are working toward becoming an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to food recovery, food access, and community redistribution.
True community impact isn’t built alone. We bridge the gap between food surplus and food insecurity by working hand-in-hand with an extensive network of community stakeholders. We proudly rescue food from and partner with:
Retail & Food Service: Grocery stores, distributors, and local restaurants
Education: Schools, colleges, and family child care homes
Agriculture: Local farms and growers
Community Spaces: Churches and trusted community partners
Instead of operating isolated distribution lines, we strategically redistribute this fresh food through these already trusted community spaces. This ensures that families can access nourishing food in familiar, welcoming, and convenient environments.
Food Para Todos is a dedicated food recovery and community redistribution initiative focused entirely on serving Merced County. As our parent organization and fiscal sponsor, Community Initiatives for Collective Impact (Ci4Ci)—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit—provides the organizational backbone that allows us to thrive. While Ci4Ci works broadly to unite diverse resources for social and environmental justice, Food Para Todos channels that support into a precise, everyday mission: rescuing fresh food and redistributing it through trusted Merced County community partners, expanding our local impact daily.
